Environmental Impact Assessments / Environmental Planning
An increasing proportion of our work relates to Environmental Impact Assessment. This procedure is sometimes required to support planning applications for significant developments, and may involve aspects of landscape and ecology.
Our input may require production of the following;
- Landscape and Visual Impacts Assessment (LVIA)
- Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment (TVIA)
- Landscape Character Appraisal (LCA)
- Detailed ecological survey and mitigation recommendations
Even where full EIA is not required, it is becoming increasing common for local authorities to request independent Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments to be submitted in support of planning applications.
