Tree Survey Work
For many years we have been assisting clients by undertaking tree survey work to the current British Standard BS 5837:2005. This sets out guidelines to ensure consistency of methodology, and allows important root protection areas (RPA’s) to be defined, which assists in the design process.
We use specialist computer software for this work. This can also generate shadow plans to assess the effect of vegetation throughout the day and over the seasons, on adjacent buildings and external spaces. Where specialist inputs are required to assess the health or structural integrity of trees, we will bring in expertise from experienced external arboricultural consultants.
