Lloydbore were appointed by Dover District Council to undertake baseline landscape character assessment work for the site of the former Pfizer Pharmaceutical Complex (recently given status of an Enterprize Zone), to inform decisions about future uses of the site.

The landscape character of the Sandwich / Richborough corridor is changing rapidly, with the recent demolition of Richborough Power Station and the development of extensive waste recycling uses, all close to highly sensitive receptors such as medieval Sandwich, the Pegwell Bay Ramsar site and significant Roman remains at Richborough.

Lloydbore were also appointed to undertake ecological survey work for this extensive site, including dusk and dawn bat surveys during the summer.
