HEAD OF ECOLOGY
With many years’ experience in designing and undertaking a full suite of ecological surveys, ranging from Extended Phase 1 Habitat Surveys and Preliminary Ecological Assessments (PEAs) through to species-specific surveys for reptiles, badgers, great crested newt, water vole, otter and bats. She also has undertaken Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) for a wide range of projects, including small local developments and large Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), for which she has authored a wide range of technical documents including terrestrial ecology Environmental Statement (ES) chapters, Ecological Management Plans (EMP) and biodiversity net gain reports. She also has experience in undertaking ecology ES chapter reviews for numerous Local Authorities.
In addition, Charlotte has managed a range of small projects as well as ecological budgets within larger projects and produced fee proposals for a wide range of ecological services (biodiversity net gain and bat surveys). Her ability to lead has meant she has provided on the job training for graduates in undertaking Extended Phase 1 Habitat Surveys and PEAs and have worked with internal GIS staff to produce a range of ecological survey proformas.
