Julian Bore

Julian's interest in Landscape Architecture developed whilst studying Town Planning as an undergraduate. His early career saw him working with public sector organisations in Manchester and Tyneside, later joining a Kent-based firm of architects, and heading up a landscape design team, before establishing Lloydbore in 1996.

As the Practice developed Julian diversified the business model to incorporate the disciplines of ecology and arboriculture, to work in parallel with the landscape team. This proved highly successful.

Julian is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute, and has extensive landscape experience across all key planning and development sectors. He also has a successful track record in landscape conservation work, and was instrumental in leading the award winning landscape conservation and management project at Luton Hoo, Bedfordshire, an internationally significant Capability Brown landscape.

Julian retired in 2023 but still provides consultancy on behalf of Lloydbore.
